Holguin
Holguin is the third most populated province in Cuba, with most resorts in the Guardalavaca area. There are almost 50 beaches in the region, and they cover almost 40km of coastline. These beaches are often calmer than other Caribbean beaches in Cuba, with excellent scuba diving, and there is lush vegetation with many wildlife refuges. Holguin's properties offer a range of amenities for families seeking a quiet escape with some culture nearby.

Varadero Varadero Beach is located in the Matanzas province and is one of the largest resort areas in all of the Caribbean. Varadero is about 90min away from Havana, making it ideal for day trips, and with more than 20km of beautiful white sandy beach, a small resort town, and a number of available excursions, Varadero offers a number of many levels of accomodation suitable for families. Included here also is the tiny area of Jibacoa, which is almost directly between Varadero and Havana.
